Can I request the original of a scanned document?
Yes, for eligible items. In your client portal, open the company (Status Active), go to Mail, find the scan, and choose Request Original next to that item.
Originals can only be requested for documents where scanning may affect quality or authenticity — for example certificates, signed documents, perforated letters, or concealed PIN letters. Not every scan qualifies. Cheques must be requested; they are not forwarded automatically.
Request in time: submit your request within 2 weeks of the scan upload date. If a hard copy is not requested within 2 weeks of delivery, it will be securely destroyed.
Dispatch: once requested, originals are sent within 2 weeks of the request date (postage charges apply where relevant).
