Where do I find my Companies House authentication code after formation?

If MYCO incorporated your company, the authentication code was sent with your incorporation documents by email. The code is in the body of the email, not as an attachment. You may also find documents in your client portal.

You need the code for online filings (for example address changes, confirmation statements). If you cannot see it, check your portal documents tab or contact support — do not share this code publicly.

You can also log in to your Companies House account and request the code to be resent; we will process it when it arrives. Allow at least a week for an authentication code to reach us if resent by Companies House post, as these are posted in batches.

If your company was not incorporated with MYCO, Companies House sends the authentication code by post within about two weeks of incorporation.
